I shoot which has a d300 primarily, performing floral, macro and actually, whatsoever tickles my fancy. When I understand the review of this camera pre-release, I desired it immediately. The focal length is perfect: 30-300mm. I can slip this tiny sweetheart into my pocket and have a good quality camera at the all set when carrying a dslr around my neck wouldn't be an method. Seriously, I like it so effectively that I'm taking into account using it with me for our tropical trip and leaving the d300 in your own home. The d300 definitely is a beast to travel with when you add a few lenses, even though when I'm there -wherever- I'm glad I've it along. This may be the genuine check for me, going to a photographers heaven with just the s8000. I did use it very somewhat on our last trip to Albuquerque, and loved it.

on this [Link Removed by Webmaster] above you will see a broad variety of focal lengths, I was absolutely impressed while using ability in the s8000 to pull the best from the Sandia mountain in obviously.
This small beauty won't ever substitute my dslr, but it's sure wonderful to own in my purse at household get togethers exactly where having a dslr together is just a headache and to me appears to be so intrusive when acquiring candid pictures.
I haven't tried the video portion from the camera, so I can not comment around the noise. Generally I pull out my Flip when I need to shoot video anyway.
You won't be disappointed in this camera :) |
